Get Excellent Care for

Wisdom Teeth

If you’re very lucky, your wisdom teeth will come in just right (fully and aligned), and they don’t need to be removed. However, that’s not the case for most individuals. Most wisdom teeth become trapped, or impacted, in your jaw when they grow in. Which can cause plenty of problems and is a big reason to get them removed.

Come in and talk to your doctor about the wisdom tooth removal procedure and decide if it’s right for you.

What’s the secret to smooth recovery after wisdom tooth removal?

What’s the secret? Follow your doctors instructions!

During the wisdom teeth removal procedure, your mouth will be numbed and you shouldn’t feel any pain. If you do, let your dentist know immediately, and they will increase the numbing agent.

Recovery time varies from person to person, but tenderness and stiffness usually goes away between 7-10 days. Ice packs, approved pain medication, and being careful about what you eat will help alleviate the discomfort you feel.

We recommend starting out with a liquid diet afterwards and then moving your way to soft foods before attempting to eat harder or chewy foods.

Food to Eat After

  • Yogurt
  • Smoothies (avoid any with small seeds that could get stuck in the removal site)
